At Nomad Fire Co., it’s all about fire, flavor, and the ultimate outdoor life. We love cooking over open fire, the smell of smoldering wood, and the power of simplicity. But truly being outdoors is more than preparing a meal – it’s reconnecting with nature. It’s learning with your hands, sharpening your senses, and experiencing how little you actually need.
That’s precisely why we are incredibly proud of our collaboration with Mike De Roover and his team from Rewillding. Mike is no stranger to the world of bushcraft and foraging. On the contrary: he lives and breathes the outdoor life, and knows like no other how to respectfully use – and taste – nature. Perhaps you even know him from TV, where he appeared in the Belgian program PlattelandsTv. Or from his books Rewild and Bushcraft.
Synergy from Passion
What connects us with Mike and Rewilding is a shared passion for pure and honest outdoor living. While we at Nomad focus on cooking over fire – from grilling to smoking and slow cooking – Rewilding goes a step further back to basics. Bushcraft is the art of living with what you have, of reading your environment and using it without depleting it. Foraging is discovering flavors that have been growing under our feet for centuries.
Together, we want to make that experience even more accessible for everyone who loves the outdoors.
Workshops and Courses at Nomad Fire Co.
From now on, you’ll not only find everything for your outdoor kitchen with us, but you can also sign up for Rewilding’s bushcraft and foraging courses.
➡️ Learn to build a shelter with what you find in the forest.
➡️ Discover edible plants, berries, and mushrooms in your own region.
➡️ Make fire without a lighter, cook over a wood fire, ferment, pickle, and preserve your harvest in traditional ways.
These are not touristy “light workshops”, but in-depth experiences where you truly learn. Always practical, with a strong focus on safety, respect for nature, and of course, a good dose of fun.
Back to the Essence
In a time when everything needs to be faster and more efficient, we choose the opposite. Together with Mike de Roover and Rewilding, we want to invite you to slow down. To learn, to taste, and to build. To make a fire in the rain. To find and prepare your own food.
Whether you’re a chef, adventurer, camping enthusiast, or just curious – these workshops and courses are for everyone who wants to deepen their connection with nature.
Together Back to Basics
Together with Rewilding, we’re taking you back to basics. But with flavor. 🔥🌿
