Cherry wood is dense and fine-grained, so the spoon absorbs little moisture and stays sturdy, even after long stirring in a hot stew. Handy with a dutch oven on the fire bowl, sweating onions in a skillet, or simply serving at the table.

Rinse the spoon with warm water, dry it right away and let it dry standing up. Do not put it in the dishwasher and do not soak it, or the wood will crack.
