Living with a Pro II

Large enough for guests

The Large is the most popular size in the Pro II series. On a 47 cm grate you cook for a family or a table of up to eight, without it taking over half your patio.

The ceramic is the same as on the Large Pro III. So you cook on the same stable heat, in the previous generation's finish.

Convenience

Two heights, one fire

The Smart Qooking multilevel system lets you work on two levels. You choose per dish how close it sits to the coals, instead of letting the fire make that choice for you.

The charcoal sits in a stainless steel basket and the ash falls into a removable drawer. Lighting up and cleaning up are therefore faster than you'd expect from a kamado.

Parts

Every part
has a reason.

Two half stainless steel grates and two half cast iron grates on a frame with multiple heights. Cast iron sears grill marks into your steak, stainless steel is the calm choice for long cooks, and you pick per half.

The cast iron top vent. Together with the stainless steel bottom vent, you set the kamado to the temperature your dish needs, from low and slow smoking to pizza on high heat.

The charcoal sits in a stainless steel basket instead of loose on a grate. Air reaches all around the coal bed, so it gets up to temperature faster and holds it more steadily.

A drawer under the coals catches the ash. No scooping out and no dust cloud over the patio: you pull the drawer out and empty it.

Where felt goes flat and brittle after a few seasons, fibreglass keeps sealing. The lid closes smoothly and the kamado really seals, which you notice as soon as you close the vent almost all the way.

The kamado sits on a trolley with 8 cm wheels, with two bamboo side tables to work on. That keeps your gear within reach and lets you roll it wherever you want it.
