Placing it right in a bed of glowing coals without smothering them, that is what the three legs of this 6.1 liter Dutch Oven are for. The pan from Valhal Outdoor is made for cooking on fire: air stays around the coals so they keep burning steadily, while the solid cast iron holds the heat.
What you cook in it
Six liters is a pleasant size for most households: enough for four to six people of stew or soup, and still easy to carry when the pan is full. If you like, shovel coals onto the heavy lid too, then you get heat from above and below and the pot becomes a real oven, exactly what you need for bread or braised meat by a campfire or fire bowl.

Care and the other version
Clean the pan with hot water and no detergent, dry it immediately and rub it with a thin layer of oil. If you cook more often on a kamado's grate or indoors on the stove, choose the version without legs. For handling the hot lid you will find tools among the cast iron accessories.
