Firebox - Grill Bill
- Thick ceramic stores heat and reflects it back
- Original part for the Pro and Classic
- Restores a cracked fire chamber
After years of firing, a crack can develop in your kamado's firebox, often from a knock while scooping out ash or a big temperature jump. This ceramic firebox is the original Grill Bill part that fits precisely into the Pro and the Classic, and restores a cracked or damaged firebox without replacing the whole unit.
Why this part matters
The thick ceramic stores heat and radiates it back inward, and that's exactly why your kamado bbq stays stable at temperature for hours while using only a little charcoal. If a piece breaks out of the wall or the firebox no longer connects cleanly to the fire ring, air leaks in the wrong place and your temperature control is gone.

- Fit it yourself, no tools needed
How to fit it
Let your kamado cool down completely and remove the grate, heat deflector and fire ring. Carefully lift out the old firebox, wipe the lower ceramic and the air opening clean and place the new one in the same spot. Always lift the firebox with both hands, ceramic is sensitive to knocks. Check the kamado accessories for matching parts.
