Using the cover sensibly
Always let your kamado cool down completely before putting the cover on. Don't pull it over a wet kamado either: the damp air can't escape, which causes stains and musty smells. Let it dry off or wipe it down first, then cover it.
Maintenance
Store the cover dry once you take it off. If it's dirty, rinse it with lukewarm water and let it dry hanging up. Don't use aggressive cleaning products, as they damage the water-repellent coating.
