Without a handle, this 25 cm skillet from Valhal Outdoor only uses the space the pan itself takes up, so the lid of your kamado simply closes. Two short handles on either side lift it straight up, even when it is full. Solid, untreated cast iron does not easily give up its base temperature the moment cold meat goes in.
Why this variant is handy with Nomad Fire
On a kamado, space is precious. Without a protruding handle, the pan also fits smaller models and the lid always closes. Steak, chicken thighs, mushrooms or sliced vegetables with garlic work well on it, though shaking is less smooth than with a handle.
