How to make it
Heat some oil (and optionally fat from the chuck steak's fat cap) in a Dutch Oven, and sear the beef all over until golden brown. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
Add the onions, garlic, peppers, paprika powder, smoked paprika powder, and tomato purée to the pan. Fry until the onions are soft.
Put the beef back in the pan, together with the tinned chopped tomatoes, stock, and flour. Stir everything together well, and set your BBQ to a temperature of about 130/140 degrees.
Bring to the boil and let it simmer gently for about 2 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender. Stir occasionally.
Season with salt and pepper. Cut the top off the bread, hollow out the bread, and put the goulash in the bread.
Garnish with fresh herbs. Enjoy!
