A 35 cm lid lifter from Valhal Outdoor solves a small but annoying problem: the lid of a Dutch Oven is heavy, scorching hot and often covered in ash. With this tool you hook under the rim, lift the lid straight up and set it aside without ash falling into your food. Your hands stay 35 cm away from the coals.

How to use it
Place the hook under the raised rim of the lid, bring the handle up steadily and keep the lid level. Then turn away from the pan before lowering the lid. Want to use the lid upside down as a griddle plate, place it on a heat-resistant surface.
Maintenance
Wipe the lifter clean after use and store it dry. Coal dust and fat otherwise slowly eat away at the metal.
