BBQ Meat Claws Grill Bill
- A whole shoulder shredded in a few minutes
- More grip than two forks or tongs
- Compact: 11 x 11 x 1.8 cm per claw
A pork shoulder that's spent hours on the kamado almost falls apart on its own, but it still needs a bit of help. With these BBQ meat claws in both hands you turn a whole shoulder into shredded pulled pork in a few minutes, without fumbling with two forks that keep slipping away.
What you use them for
Besides pulled pork they work just as well for brisket you'd rather pull than slice, and for roasted chicken you shred for tacos or a salad after a session on the kamado bbq. The wide surface with multiple tines grabs a lot of meat at once in a single motion, and the claws also give extra grip when lifting a large, hot piece of meat off the grate.
- Shreds pulled pork, brisket and chicken without needing to use force
- Two claws, so you work with both hands at once
- Extra grip when lifting a whole chicken or large piece of meat
- Compact size of 11 x 11 x 1.8 cm, easy to store
How to use them
Let the meat rest first, then place it in a roomy bowl or on a cutting board with a raised edge. Set one claw into the meat for grip and pull along with the other, working from the outside in so the juices stay in the bowl. The claws are made of plastic, so use them on the meat itself and not on a hot grate. If you also put ribs on the fire regularly, check out a rib rack at the kamado accessories.
